Frank started plumbing at 17 and never stopped. By the time he opened JR Plumbing Heating & Air, he had over 25 years of residential experience — most of it on the same kinds of west-suburb homes he still services today: post-war ranches in Wheaton, mid-century splits in Glen Ellyn, brick four-squares, and the occasional century-old farmhouse that's seen four eras of plumbing.
The reason Frank built the company the way he did — same crew, same trucks, one phone number — is that he watched too many homeowners get bounced between trades on remodels. If your plumbing contractor blames the electrician for the leak under the dishwasher, and the electrician blames the plumber, the homeowner ends up paying for both of them to argue. Frank does the trades himself. There's nobody to blame but him, and that's the point.
